Drop: Minimum Age Policy (Users Under 18)

This policy explains Drop's age requirement and how we handle the personal information of minors. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Drop is for adults 18 and older

Drop is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. It is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. When you create an account, you must confirm your date of birth, which we use to verify that you meet the minimum age. Misrepresenting your age to access the Service violates our Terms of Service.

We do not knowingly collect information from minors

• Under 18. We do not knowingly collect, use, or store personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will disable the account and delete the associated personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Under 13 (COPPA). The U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") governs the online collection of personal information from children under 13. Because Drop is an adults-only (18+) service, it is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any child under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it as promptly as possible.

Because Drop does not permit users under 18, the operational requirements that apply to services directed to children (such as verifiable parental consent) are not triggered in the ordinary course. We nonetheless take the minimum-age requirement seriously and act promptly on any indication that an underage user has accessed the Service.

For parents and guardians

If you believe that someone under 18 (or under 13) has created an account or provided us with personal information, please contact us right away at support@dropitnow.app with enough detail to identify the account. We will investigate and, where appropriate, remove the account and delete the information.

Reporting a suspected underage user

If you encounter a user on Drop who you believe is under 18, please report them using the in-app reporting tools or email support@dropitnow.app. Protecting the integrity of an adults-only, verified community depends in part on the community itself.
